Best of Luck Nikki

Best of Luck Nikki is a Disney Channel India sitcom, which premiered 3 April 2011. The series is an Indian adaptation of the American teen show Good Luck Charlie. The plot is similar to the American one, with some exceptions.

The series was created by Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen, who wanted to create a program that would appeal to entire families, as opposed to kids and teens only. It revolves around a family, the Singhs, as they try to adjust to the birth of their fourth child, Nikki Singh. In each episode, Dolly Singh creates a video diary containing advice for Nikki about their family and life as a teenager. Dolly tries to show Nikki what she might go through in the video diary so she can always know how to figure things out when she gets older, when she wouldn't be around. In the third season Nikki's younger sibling Bobby was born.

Plot

The series revolves around the Singh family, who are still adjusting to the birth of their fourth child, Nikita aka Nikki Singh. When parents Himani, a nurse, and Avatar Singh, an electrician, return to work, they ask their three older children, Rohan, Dolly and Sunny for help raising their little sister. At the same time, Dolly, Rohan, and Sunny try to deal with school and typical teen-aged social challenges in their life.

Best of Luck is a 2010 Malayalam comedy film written and directed by M.A. Nishad. It stars Prabhu, Urvashi, Asif Ali, Kailash, Archana Kavi and Rima Kallingal, and features Mammootty in a cameo role. The soundtrack was composed by the Indian rock band Euphoria. The song "NaNa", which was usred in the trailers, was composed by A. R. Rahman for an American film, Couples Retreat. The film was a remake of the Bollywood comedy film All the Best: Fun Begins. Unlike the original, the film was extremely negatively received and was a commercial failure.

Synopsis

Surya(Kailash) is Vinayaka Naickar's (Prabhu) stepbrother. Vinayakan is very rich; Surya is struggling to make a living. Vinayakan sends some amount every month to Surya and that is how he survives. Manu (Asif Ali) is Surya's friend who dreams about becoming a filmmaker.

One day Manu meets the star Mammootty (Mammootty) on the set of a movie shooting and tells him that he has a story which he plans to make as a movie. Mammootty listens to the synopsis and tells Manu to call him once the script is ready. Since Manu got the dates from a super star like Mammootty, he plans to make the movie soon and looks for finance. Manu introduces Surya as the producer and lends money from a lender called Bhasi(Bheeman Raghu) at a very high rate of interest. The production assistant runs away with that money.

Why Should The Fire Die? is the third major album release and fifth album overall by progressive acoustic trio Nickel Creek. The album was released on Sugar Hill on August 9, 2005 in the United States, and on August 8 in the United Kingdom.Why Should the Fire Die? is the first Nickel Creek album to feature string bassist Mark Schatz.

The album peaked at #17 on the Billboard 200, making it the highest charting Nickel Creek album on the chart to date.Why Should the Fire Die? also topped both the magazine's Top Internet Albums and Top Bluegrass Albums charts. By November 2006, the album had sold 258,784 copies. The album earned Nickel Creek two Grammy Award nominations: the award for Best Contemporary Folk Album, an award which they previously won for This Side, and the award for Best Country Instrumental Performance ("Scotch & Chocolate").

Why Should the Fire Die? was praised by contemporary music critics primarily for its creativity, and for its instrumental quality, with one critic complimenting the album's "sheer musical brilliance".

Best of Luck (2013 film)

Best of Luck is a Punjabi film starring Gippy Grewal, Jazzy B (in his acting debut), Binnu Dhillon, Simran Kaur Mundi (Miss India Universe 2008) and Sonam Bajwa.

Music for the film was composed by Jatinder Shah. Shooting of the film started in May 2012 in Vancouver, Canada, and the second schedule was completed in Jalandhar, Punjab in September 2012.
